Probably the most common question asked of us - and the most difficult to give a quick answer. We believe in making our prices as public and transparent as possible and have provided a comprehensive list and instant quote tool here. However, every web presence is different so we always arrange a face-to-face meeting before we provide an accurate quote to allow us to discuss you site in detail.
Again this depends on the type and size of your site. Most delays in development occur in receiving information that you want to appear on your site so make sure that you have all your images, text and existing marketing material ready. On average sites take between 2 and 4 weeks to build and if you have a particular deadline we will do everything we can to get your site up in time.
There are three ways to do this. The first is for us to build you tools to allow you to edit certain information on your site yourself. You will be able to log onto our client site and easily change images and text. This process will incur a greater up front cost as we need to build these tools for you but you will be able to update your site whenever you want.
The second way is for you to pay us to update your site for you. When you wish to make a change just advise us of the changes you want via email or phone and we will get them done usually in a day or two. This service is ideal if you have a site that will be updated infrequently.
The third way is to get a third party to change the site for you. Because you own all the pages and images on your site once the development is complete you are more than welcome to use someone else to update your site if they have the necessary knowledge and expertise.
Implemented properly ecommerce is one of the most secure ways of transacting using your credit card. Compared with giving your card number over the telephone or fax, transacting over the net is much more secure. At present there is still a lack of understanding and therefore trust amongst the public about transacting over the Internet and this is what you will need to address to give your customers the confidence to deal with you.
